Who we are and what we sell

oin is the trading brand of an individual software supplier based in Kazakhstan. oin's own game engine and generator automatically create a personalised digital video game for each order from oin's original assets and the content you submit, without anyone working on it by hand, and oin licenses it to you. Characters are generated automatically as simplified pixel sprites based on authorized photos; we do not make face swaps, deepfakes, photorealistic images, or voice impersonations. oin does not sell physical goods, marketplace access, consulting, or a standalone design service.

Polar acts as Merchant of Record, authorised reseller, and contractual seller for each order; the applicable Polar legal entity is identified at checkout and on the receipt. Polar appears on your receipt and bank or card statement and collects the charge and applicable taxes. Your purchase is also subject to Polar's Buyer Terms.

Each oin game is a made-to-order 2D pixel-art video game built around you or the person you're gifting it to. Every game includes:

• A main character drawn from a photo you upload
• Two personal letters written by you, built into the game
• A custom 5-question quiz that you write
• A final level set in Almaty
• 2 custom NPCs created from authorized photos; each further NPC is priced separately

Orders and payment

To order, you fill out the order form on our website with your name, your preferred contact method and contact details, your email address, an optional referral or promo code, your character's photo and name, your chosen final level, the text of your two letters, your 5 quiz questions with 4 answers each, and the names of any extra NPCs you would like.

When you submit the form you are shown the final total and taken to a secure Polar checkout. You are charged only if you pay there. You pay Polar, not us. Your game is generated automatically, and generation starts only once Polar confirms that payment has gone through.

Country-specific prices are shown on our Pricing page. The first 2 custom NPCs are included and each further NPC costs extra. Kazakhstan purchases are charged through Polar in KZT at 9,990 KZT, plus 2,490 KZT for each extra NPC. The exact one-time total and any tax or VAT calculated by Polar are shown before you confirm checkout.

Delivery

Your game is delivered digitally only - there is no physical product and nothing is shipped. Once it is ready, a private game link that plays in the browser and a downloadable copy of the game files are emailed automatically to the address on your order.

Delivery usually happens within an hour of payment, though it can take longer when many orders arrive at once. If generation still fails after every attempt, your payment is refunded in full automatically. The private game link remains available for one year from delivery. Keep your own backup of the downloaded files if you want to retain the game after that link expires.

Cancellation and refunds

You can cancel at no cost any time before payment. Before you pay, you agree that your game is generated and delivered immediately, and you acknowledge that you lose any statutory right of withdrawal (such as the 14-day right in the EU and the UK) once delivery begins.

After payment, purchases are non-refundable. We refund you in full if the game cannot be generated or delivered, if you are charged twice, if the game is faulty and we cannot fix it, or where the law requires a refund.

Polar, as the seller, processes every refund back to the original payment method where possible. Mandatory consumer rights and any greater protection provided by Polar continue to apply in full.

Your content and responsibilities

You are responsible for everything you upload or write for your game - the photo, the letters, the quiz, and any NPC names.

• You must own the photo and text you submit, or have permission to use them
• Every person whose photo or likeness is used must give prior, explicit consent; making a surprise gift does not remove this requirement
• We do not accept celebrity, public-figure, brand, or copyrighted-character requests
• You must not upload or submit anything illegal, hateful, sexually explicit, or that infringes someone else's rights

We may decline to start, or stop working on, any order that breaks these rules.

Licence and intellectual property

Once delivered, your game is licensed to you for personal, non-commercial use. You can play it, keep it, and give it as a gift.

You may not resell it, redistribute it publicly, or use it for any commercial purpose. oin keeps ownership of the underlying game engine, artwork, and code used to build your game.

We use photos, likenesses, videos, or screenshots from your order in marketing only after obtaining separate, explicit permission from you.

Revisions

If we make a mistake - such as a typo, wrong name, or build that does not launch - we fix it at no charge. If we cannot fix it, you are entitled to a refund under our Refund Policy.

Disclaimers and liability

If a material defect prevents the game from working in a supported modern web browser, you may request a free fix or any refund available under our policy or applicable law.

We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the game. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for your order.

Age requirement

You must be 18 or older to order from oin. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must give permission and place the order on your behalf.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page shows when they last changed. Continuing to use oin after an update means you accept the revised terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Kazakhstan. If a disagreement comes up, we'll always try to resolve it directly with you first. If that doesn't work, it will be resolved under the law of the Republic of Kazakhstan. This does not deprive you of the protection of any mandatory consumer-law rules of the country where you live, and the payment side of your purchase is additionally governed by Polar's Buyer Terms.
