What is oin?
oin turns your story into a small custom 2D pixel-art video game that you give as a gift. The main character is drawn from a photo you send, the letters you write appear inside the game, and a 5-question quiz about your relationship is built into the levels.
What is included in the game?
A main character drawn from an authorized photo, two personal letters, a custom 5-question quiz, a final level set in Almaty or Astana, 2 custom NPCs, downloadable Windows, macOS and Linux builds, and a private game link available for one year. The full list is on the pricing page.
How much does a personalised video game gift cost?
The game costs $50 as a single one-time payment - no subscription and no recurring charges. Your first 2 custom NPCs are included; every additional NPC is $5. Local prices are listed on the pricing page.
How long does it take to make?
Normally 3-7 days after your payment is confirmed. If you need it for a specific date, tell us when you order and we will plan the build around it.
How do I order a custom game?
Fill in the form on the site: the character photo and name, your two letters, 5 quiz questions and a contact email. We confirm the details and email you a secure Paddle payment link. Once payment goes through we build the game and send the downloadable files and one-year private game link.
What kind of photo should I send?
A full-body photo with good lighting, where the face and clothes are clearly visible, gives the best character. The file has to be under 5 MB and can be JPEG, PNG, WebP or HEIC.
What devices does the game run on?
You receive downloadable desktop builds for Windows, macOS and Linux, plus a private game link that remains available for one year from delivery. You can keep your downloaded files after the link expires.
Can I choose the characters in the game?
Yes. Two custom NPCs made from photos of people who explicitly consented are included; each additional NPC is $5. We do not accept celebrities, public figures, brands, or copyrighted characters.
Does oin generate faces or make face swaps?
No. A human artist manually draws a simplified pixel sprite while looking at an authorized photo. We do not offer automated face generation, face swaps, deepfakes, or voice impersonation, and we do not process a likeness without explicit consent.
What occasions is it a good gift for?
Birthdays, anniversaries, Valentine’s Day, International Women’s Day, graduations or simply a day that matters to you. Because the letters and the quiz are written entirely by you, the game fits whatever the occasion is.
How does payment work and is it safe?
Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record and contractual seller. You receive a secure Paddle checkout link by email, and we never see or store your card details. Paddle calculates applicable sales tax or VAT and shows it before you confirm.
Can I get a refund?

What happens to my photo and letters?
They are used only to build your game. We do not sell them and we do not use your personal details in advertising. How long we keep them and how deletion works is described in our privacy policy.
Is a personalized game a good long distance relationship gift?
Yes, and it is one of the few gifts that needs no shipping at all - the finished game is a download link, so there is no parcel, no customs and no delivery window. Details are on the long distance relationship gift page.
Can two people play it, or is it a game for couples only?
The game is single-player, but couples usually play it together on one screen or over a screen-shared call. It is not couples-only either: the letters and quiz are written by you, so it works just as well as a game gift for friends. See the game gift for couples page for how the quiz works.
How customizable is the game?

Do I need to know anything about video games to order one?
No. You fill in a form with a photo, two letters and five questions - we do the drawing, the level building and the packaging. The person receiving it does not need a gaming PC either; it runs on any normal Windows, macOS or Linux laptop.
