Custom game gift: everything you can customize
A customized gift is only as good as the number of decisions you actually get to make. This page lists every part of an oin game you control, so you know exactly what a customizable game gift means before you order one. Everything below is chosen by you in the order form; everything not listed is built by us.
What you customize
- The main character. Drawn from a photo you upload - hair, clothes and style are matched to the person in it.
- The character's name. Whatever you call them, including the nickname nobody else uses.
- Two letters. One opens the game in the starting room, the other closes the final level. You write both, in any language.
- Five quiz questions. Four answers each, written by you; correct answers reward the player with flowers.
- The final city. Almaty or Astana.
- The NPC characters. Two custom NPCs made from authorized photos are included. Every identifiable person must explicitly consent, and each additional authorized NPC costs $5.
What is the same in every game
The level design, the pixel art style, the music and the flower mechanic are ours - they are what makes the game feel finished rather than assembled. You are not designing a game from scratch; you are handing us the story and getting back a built one.
That split is deliberate. A custom gift where the buyer has to make fifty decisions stops being a gift and becomes a project, so we kept the customizable parts to the ones that carry meaning: the face, the words, the questions and the people.
How a custom game gift is made
You fill in one form with the photo, the name, the two letters, the five questions, the final city and any extra NPCs. We confirm the details and email a secure Paddle payment link; sending the form is free and commits you to nothing.
After payment the game costs $50 as a one-time charge and is built in 3-7 days, then delivered as a download for Windows, macOS and Linux. If something came out wrong on our side, we fix it free of charge.
How customizable is a custom game gift?
You choose the main character (drawn from an authorized photo), their name, two letters, five quiz questions, the final city and two custom NPCs from authorized photos. The level design, art style and music are made by oin.
Can I write the letters and the quiz in my own language?
Yes. The letters and quiz questions are printed into the game exactly as you write them, in any language - the game itself does not translate or rewrite your text.
Can I add more custom characters to the game?
Yes. Two custom NPCs made from authorized photos are included, and every additional authorized NPC costs $5. Each identifiable person must explicitly consent before you submit their photo.
What does a customized game gift cost?
The base game is $50, a single one-time payment covering every customization listed above plus two custom NPCs from authorized photos. There is no subscription, and any additional authorized NPC is $5.
