Who we are and what we sell

oin is the trading brand of an individual software supplier based in Kazakhstan. A two-person production team uses oin's own game engine and original assets to create and license a personalised digital video game for each order. A human artist manually draws a simplified pixel sprite while looking at an authorized photo; we do not offer automated face generation, face swaps, deepfakes, or voice impersonation. oin does not sell physical goods, marketplace access, consulting, or a standalone design service.

Paddle.com acts as Merchant of Record, authorised reseller, and contractual seller for each order; the applicable Paddle legal entity is identified at checkout and on the receipt. Paddle appears on your receipt and bank or card statement and collects the charge and applicable taxes. Your purchase is also subject to Paddle's Buyer Terms.

Each oin game is a made-to-order 2D pixel-art video game built around you or the person you're gifting it to. Every game includes:

• A main character drawn from a photo you upload
• Two personal letters written by you, built into the game
• A custom 5-question quiz that you write
• A final level set in Almaty or Astana
• 2 custom NPCs created from authorized photos; each further NPC is priced separately

Orders and payment

To order, you fill out the order form on our website with your name, a contact handle, your email address, an optional referral or promo code, your character's photo and name, your chosen final level, the text of your two letters, your 5 quiz questions with 4 answers each, and the names of any extra NPCs you would like.

Submitting the form does not charge you anything and does not commit you to buying. After you submit it, we confirm the details and email you a secure Paddle checkout link. You pay Paddle, not us. Work on your game begins only once Paddle confirms that payment has gone through.

Country-specific prices are shown on our Pricing page. The first 2 custom NPCs are included and each further NPC costs extra. Kazakhstan pricing is displayed as 15,000 KZT and charged through Paddle as $30 USD; each extra NPC is displayed as 2,500 KZT and charged as $5 USD. Your bank may apply its own exchange rate or fee. The exact one-time USD total and any tax or VAT calculated by Paddle are shown before you confirm checkout.

Delivery

Your game is delivered digitally only - there is no physical product and nothing is shipped. Once it is finished, we send downloadable builds for Windows, macOS and Linux plus a private game link.

Delivery normally takes 3-7 days after payment is received. The private game link remains available for one year from delivery. Keep your own backup of the downloaded files if you want to retain the game after that link expires.

Cancellation and refunds

You can cancel at no cost any time before payment. After payment, you may request a full refund of the base game and add-ons for any reason within 14 days. Production starting or the game being delivered does not remove this guarantee.

Paddle, as the seller, processes every refund back to the original payment method where possible. Mandatory consumer rights and any greater protection provided by Paddle continue to apply in full.

Your content and responsibilities

You are responsible for everything you upload or write for your game - the photo, the letters, the quiz, and any NPC names.

• You must own the photo and text you submit, or have permission to use them
• Every person whose photo or likeness is used must give prior, explicit consent; making a surprise gift does not remove this requirement
• We do not accept celebrity, public-figure, brand, or copyrighted-character requests
• You must not upload or submit anything illegal, hateful, sexually explicit, or that infringes someone else's rights

We may decline to start, or stop working on, any order that breaks these rules.

Licence and intellectual property

Once delivered, your game is licensed to you for personal, non-commercial use. You can play it, keep it, and give it as a gift.

You may not resell it, redistribute it publicly, or use it for any commercial purpose. oin keeps ownership of the underlying game engine, artwork, and code used to build your game.

We use photos, likenesses, videos, or screenshots from your order in marketing only after obtaining separate, explicit permission from you.

Revisions

If we make a mistake - such as a typo, wrong name, or build that does not launch - we fix it at no charge. This does not limit the 14-day refund guarantee.

Disclaimers and liability

If a material defect prevents the game from working on a supported Windows, macOS, or Linux system, you may request a free fix or any refund available under our policy or applicable law.

We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the game. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for your order.

Age requirement

You must be 18 or older to order from oin. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must give permission and place the order on your behalf.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page shows when they last changed. Continuing to use oin after an update means you accept the revised terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Kazakhstan. If a disagreement comes up, we'll always try to resolve it directly with you first. If that doesn't work, it will be resolved under the law of the Republic of Kazakhstan. This does not deprive you of the protection of any mandatory consumer-law rules of the country where you live, and the payment side of your purchase is additionally governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms.
