A personalized game gift for your sister as a goodbye: your memories as a level they can play

What the game is, in one page

Instead of a scrapbook she flicks through once, the memories become levels: a quiz built from real details, two letters that frame the journey and a final level in a real city.

Under the hood it is a short pixel game with levels, a quiz and a final level in Almaty, Kazakhstan. You supply the photo, the letters, the questions and, if you like, two NPCs; New York and Tokyo final levels are coming soon.

What to write in the two letters

Use the first letter to set the scene of how it began. Use the second for where you are now and where you hope the story goes.

Five quiz questions to start from

Pick the five questions from different years so the quiz itself tells the story in order.

• Which song played in the car?
• Where was the first home I remember?
• Which relative told the best story?
• Which dish is the family favourite?
• What did we get wrong about the road trip?

Why it suits your sister

A sister has the longest shared history in your life, so the game can be as silly as you like. Childhood nicknames and family legends make the best quiz questions.

Let the first letter tease and the second say how much you actually rely on her.

If the goodbye is this week

Goodbyes come around fast. Gift cards, flowers and a personalized game arrive fast, and an oin game is usually emailed within an hour of payment.

A going-away gift should be light enough to pack. Think small, personal and easy to keep.

How to make it, step by step

• Choose a clear photo of her that you are authorized to use, and the pixel character is generated from it.
• Write two letters, the first for the opening room and the second for the end of the final level.
• Write five quiz questions with their answers; every correct answer gives flowers.
• Add up to two custom NPCs, friends or family, as long as everyone who appears agrees.
• Pay $29.90 once; the game is generated automatically and usually emailed within an hour.

Price, delivery and refunds

It costs $29.90 as a one-time payment, with regional pricing and no subscription. Payment runs on a secure Polar checkout and Polar is the Merchant of Record, so oin never sees your card. After payment the game is generated automatically and emailed, usually within an hour, as a private link that stays available for one year plus a downloadable copy. If generation fails, the payment is refunded automatically. All sales are final once delivery starts, but you get a full refund if the game cannot be generated or delivered, if you are charged twice or if it is faulty and cannot be fixed. See the refund policy.
