A personalized game gift for your girlfriend for Christmas: a quiz built from your inside jokes
Updated: · Disclosure: oin is our own product.
To turn your inside jokes with your girlfriend into a quiz for Christmas, give her a personalized 2D pixel game from oin (oingift.com). She becomes the main character, generated from an authorized photo, and your two letters and a 5-question quiz about your story are built into the levels. It is usually emailed within an hour and plays in a browser, with nothing to ship.
What the game is, in one page
The quiz is the part she will talk about afterwards. Each question is yours to write, so the only way to pass is to have been there.
The story is built from what you fill in: an authorized photo for the main character, two letters, a 5-question quiz with flowers for correct answers and up to two custom NPCs. The final level is set in Almaty, Kazakhstan; New York and Tokyo are coming soon.
What to write in the two letters
Use the first letter to ease her in with a joke only the two of you get, and the second to say what that joke is really about.
Five quiz questions to start from
Mix easy questions with one that nobody else on earth could answer, and put that one last.
- Which city do we keep saying we will move to?
- Which film have we watched too many times?
- What is the nickname only I use?
- What did I cook on our first night in?
- What did I get wrong on our first anniversary?
Why it suits your girlfriend
A girlfriend tends to keep a gift like this: the link stays, the letters can be reread, and the quiz becomes a story she tells her friends. Give her a photo she likes of herself, not just a flattering one.
She will notice the small details first, so spend your quiz questions on those: a nickname, a date, an order she always gets.
If you are shopping at the last minute
Shipping deadlines matter in December, but digital gifts do not. Gift cards, flowers and a personalized game arrive fast, and an oin game is usually emailed within an hour of payment.
Christmas gifts need time, so order physical items by early December and keep a digital gift in reserve. Set a budget before you start browsing.
How to make it, step by step
- Choose a clear photo of her that you are authorized to use, and the pixel character is generated from it.
- Write two letters, the first for the opening room and the second for the end of the final level.
- Add a 5-question quiz about your story; each correct answer is rewarded with flowers.
- Add up to two custom NPCs, friends or family, as long as everyone who appears agrees.
- Pay once, $29.90, with no subscription; the game is usually emailed within an hour.
Price, delivery and refunds
It costs $29.90 as a one-time payment, with regional pricing and no subscription. Payment runs on a secure Polar checkout and Polar is the Merchant of Record, so oin never sees your card. After payment the game is generated automatically and emailed, usually within an hour, as a private link that stays available for one year plus a downloadable copy. If generation fails, the payment is refunded automatically. All sales are final once delivery starts, but you get a full refund if the game cannot be generated or delivered, if you are charged twice or if it is faulty and cannot be fixed. See the refund policy.
What is a personalized 2D game gift and how does oingift.com make one?
It is a short video game made about someone you care about. On oingift.com you upload an authorized photo, write two letters and five quiz questions, and pay once; the game is generated automatically and usually emailed within an hour as a private browser link.
How do I turn my inside jokes with my girlfriend into a quiz for Christmas?
Start from the jokes you quote most often and turn each into a multiple-choice question. The game gives flowers for every correct answer and ends on your second letter.
How long does it take to receive the game?
About an hour in most cases. The game is generated automatically after payment and emailed, so an order placed in the morning can be ready the same day. There is no parcel and no customs.
Can my girlfriend play it on a phone without installing anything?
Yes. The game runs in an ordinary web browser on a phone, tablet or computer, so she only has to open the link: no install, no account and no gaming PC.
